Job summary

MHA in London is seeking an Executive Trainer on a 12-month FTC maternity cover to expand the Learning & Development team’s capacity to design and deliver core skills training across the organisation.

The role emphasises practical and management training, onboarding, and regional needs, with flexible delivery modes (in-person, virtual, hybrid) and opportunities to shape learning pathways and employee engagement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging induction sessions for new employees, introducing company values, policies, and culture.
  • Collaborate with HR and L&D teams to ensure content remains current and aligned with organisational priorities.
  • Support onboarding logistics and follow-up learning activities.
  • Design and deliver workshops on essential business skills such as Time Management, Business Writing.
  • Adapt content for different delivery modes (in-person, virtual, hybrid) and learner levels.
  • Support the rollout of structured learning pathways for graduate and trainee cohorts.
  • Facilitate sessions that build core competencies and workplace readiness.
  • Monitor learner progress and contribute to feedback and evaluation processes.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training modules aimed at first-line and emerging managers.
  • Topics may include delegation, coaching, performance conversations, and team dynamics.
  • Provide logistical and facilitation support for leadership development events.
  • Coordinate and deliver bespoke training sessions in response to business needs or strategic initiatives.
  • Provide organisational support for large-scale learning events, conferences, or internal campaigns.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and high learner engagement.

Purpose of the role

The primary purpose of the Executive Trainer role is to expand the Learning & Development (L&D) team’s capacity to design and deliver core skills training across the organisation, with a particular focus on supporting practical/management skills training and regional needs.
