Job summary

Northern Powergrid is creating a number of new Performance & Standards Lead roles at the heart of our directorates, working directly with Executive Directors and leadership teams to translate strategy into delivery and embed high standards across the business.

These roles offer exposure to strategic and operational challenges, with Newcastle or Sunderland offices as base, and a mandate to drive performance, governance and organisational effectiveness through delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience working with senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Delivery of high-quality outputs in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to manage complex, cross-functional priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support Executive Directors and leadership teams to prioritise effectively and make informed decisions.
• Ensure quality across executive reports, papers and presentations so they're clear, insightful and decision ready.
• Drive consistent standards, governance and ways of working across your directorate.
• Turn data, information and competing priorities into meaningful recommendations and actionable insight.
• Act as a critical friend, providing challenge, perspective and support when it matters most.
