Job summary

COREcruitment is seeking an Executive Chief Steward for a luxury Caribbean resort in St. Kitts & Nevis. This full-time role leads a stewarding team of ~30, ensuring top-tier cleanliness, sanitation and operational support across the property.

The ideal candidate has luxury hotel or resort experience, Caribbean exposure preferred, and strong leadership, budgeting and reporting skills to drive efficient stewarding operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assistant Chief Steward, Executive Steward or equivalent F&B supervisor.
• Luxury hotel or resort experience is essential.
• Caribbean experience is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience leading and developing a large stewarding team.
• Strong knowledge of commercial dishwashing, kitchen cleaning equipment and sanitation standards.
• Comfortable managing inventory, scheduling and departmental costs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Computer proficiency and the ability to prepare reports and work with banquet event orders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, motivate and develop the Stewarding team of approximately 30 employees.
• Oversee the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchens, storage areas, employee dining and stewarding facilities.
• Manage scheduling, labor costs, purchasing, inventory and departmental expenses.
• Ensure the proper care, maintenance and security of all stewarding equipment and machinery.
• Coordinate closely with the Executive Chef, F&B leadership and banquet teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Oversee the supply, storage and distribution of china, silver, glassware and other service equipment.
• Support banquet setup and service requirements across the property.
