About the Role
Footballco is looking for a Head of Development / Executive Producer to lead a new department within the content organisation called the “Footballco Originals” team. This is an exciting opportunity to build and lead the production of mid and long-form football video content, primarily for YouTube but also story-led, mid-length, or feature-length football films and documentaries for streaming platforms.
You will oversee our most premium productions, many featuring A-list talent, working with our global video production team of 30+ producers to surface the best ideas and produce them to a high standard. You will collaborate with our audience development team to ensure your videos achieve optimal performance across social media and other distribution channels.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with talent and managing multiple video or film projects at different stages. A passion for storytelling and production expertise are essential. You should be able to oversee projects from script to screen, including managing contracts with talent, agents, and football rights holders. Prior football experience is not necessary but a willingness to immerse yourself in the game is required. This role is based in our London offices with a hybrid work model (3 days/week).
