Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in London is seeking an Executive Director to lead front-office rates quantitative research, building and evolving models with measurable impact. You will work with trading partners to translate market opportunities into production-ready solutions and ensure robust controls.

You will mentor a local team, set direction, and serve as the EMEA liaison, delivering insights from data to trading decisions while maintaining a strong risk culture.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative discipline.
• Front-office quantitative research experience in rates/fixed income.
• Strong production-quality research code in Python and/or C++.
• Knowledge of rates and interest rate derivatives.
• Ability to mentor and lead a local team to deliver results.
• Experience with model risk management and governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop pricing and risk models for structured rates to support front-office decisions.
• Collaborate with Rates and Fixed Income desks to translate ideas into robust model design and controls.
• Implement quantitative models and analytics in Python and/or C++, focusing on performance and production readiness.
• Produce clear model development documentation for independent review and approvals.
• Lead and mentor a local team, coordinating with stakeholders across EMEA.
• Automate workflows to improve efficiency, controls, and scalability.
