Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a Director of Estates and HR to provide strategic leadership across HR, estates, IT and business operations. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will drive people and facilities strategy, oversee expansion projects and support transformation across a multi-site education environment.

You will lead cross-functional teams, shape organisational growth and ensure delivery of high-performance, compliant operations within a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational functions at a strategic level.
• Strong HR leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Estates management, ideally in a Multi-Academy Trust environment.
• Track record of delivering growth, transformation or large-scale projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication at board/executive level.
• Proven leadership capability and ability to develop high-performing teams.
• Commercial acumen with a people-focused approach.
• Able to operate autonomously in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of people, estates and digital strategies.
• Drive organisational growth projects including new sites and expansion.
• Provide leadership to HR, IT and operations teams and develop capability.
• Oversee estates and facilities management to ensure safe, compliant environments.
• Lead organisational change and continuous improvement programmes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, governance, health & safety and operations requirements.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, trustees and external partners.
• Contribute as a member of the executive leadership team to shape long-term strategy.
