£55K£70K + Bonus & Private Healthcare

Hackney Wick (Prep Kitchen) + On-Site at Events Across London

45 Hours per Week with Flexibility

A respected, independent event catering company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head or Executive Chef to lead its kitchen operation into an exciting new chapter. With a reputation for beautifully executed events and creative, seasonal food, this is a rare opportunity to join a highly regarded team at a pivotal leadership level.

The Role:
  • Lead and inspire a dedicated kitchen brigade delivering exceptional food across a wide range of London venues
  • Oversee day-to-day prep at the companys central kitchen in Hackney Wick
  • Take ownership of menu development, tastings, logistics, costings, and team development
  • Collaborate closely with the leadership team on operations, planning, and business growth
  • Maintain exceptional standards in food safety, allergen control, and compliance
  • Be client-facing when required and champion a positive kitchen culture
About You:
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef in the event catering sector
  • Ready to step into an Executive Chef-level role, with strategic and commercial awareness
  • Strong leader and communicator who thrives in both the kitchen and front-of-house situations
  • Organised, calm under pressure, and adept at running multi-venue, multi-format events
  • Passionate about premium, seasonal food and team mentorship
  • A problem-solver with excellent attention to detail and operational oversight
The Package:
  • £55,000 £70,000 depending on experience and role title

Additional Information:
