Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the kitchen across multiple outlets for our client venues. You will shape menus, oversee cooking, presentation, and quality, and uphold the company’s reputation for culinary excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a demanding kitchen at the relevant level.
• Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate or above.
• Team player with leadership ability.
• Ability to negotiate and build relationships with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen across multiple outlets.
• Organise planning, preparation, cooking and presentation to required standards.
• Ensure supplies are issued, used and accounted for with stock takes and rotation.
• Set objectives and oversee day-to-day running of the kitchens including recruitment.
• Assess employee performance and training needs.
• Maintain knowledge of current food trends and ingredients.
• Control and achieve financial targets while maximizing commercial opportunities.
• Ensure Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental compliance.
