Job summary

HR-CL Limited is seeking an Executive Chef in Birmingham/ West Midlands to lead our independent hospitality group's four venues. This is predominantly a hands-on role with around 20% time in an office, delivering exceptional menus and financial performance.

You will oversee kitchen operations, mentor teams across four venues, and shape menus with creative freedom while working within GP/cost targets and driving guest satisfaction.

• Menu design and planning experience.
• Strong knowledge of GP/ costs / profit metrics.

Responsibilities

• Predominantly hands-on role (approx. 80% front-line cooking, 20% office-based).
• Lead and mentor teams across four venues, ensuring consistency and high standards.

Job description

An Executive Chef job in the Birmingham/ West Midlands, paying a salary up to £55,000 plus up to £5,000 KPI bonus, is available for an Independent Hospitality Group with 4 impressive Hotel/Restaurant venues.

The sites have had excellent investment in them, giving you a fantastic product to deliver your expertise through. But what really makes great memories for our guests are the teams within the sites.

This could be an excellent first Exec role for a competent Head Chef looking to step up into, or perhaps a hands-on Exec Chef looking for a new adventure. This is a predominantly hands on role (20% office based) so it is essential that you still have the passion and the love of being on the frontline with the team.
