Job summary

Purosearch Ltd. in Manchester is seeking an experienced Residential Home Manager, Care Home Manager or Registered Manager to lead a luxury care home. The role focuses on delivering person-centred care, achieving outstanding CQC standards and driving occupancy and financial performance.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, foster a positive culture, mentor leaders and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining excellent staff engagement and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Residential Home Manager within elderly care.
• Experience as Care Home Manager or Registered Manager in a CQC-regulated service.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Solid knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards.
• Track record of improving occupancy and quality ratings.
• Recruitment and staff development experience.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Adult Care (or equivalent) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the luxury care home.
• Ensure exceptional resident care and customer satisfaction.
• Deliver outstanding leadership across all departments.
• Maintain full CQC compliance.
• Drive occupancy and financial performance.
• Manage recruitment, retention and workforce planning.
• Oversee quality assurance and clinical governance.
• Develop and mentor department leaders.
• Promote continuous improvement across the home.
• Build excellent relationships with residents, families, professionals and commissioners.
• As Care Home Manager, you will champion a positive culture where residents receive exceptional care and colleagues feel valued and supported.
• As Registered Manager, you will be accountable for regulatory compliance, safeguarding, staffing, quality standards and overall service performance.
