Job summary

Nexus Multi Academy Trust runs 19 SEND and mainstream academies and is seeking a central team education leader. The postholder supports Headteachers and Executive Leaders across the Trust, evaluating how the quality assurance framework affects leadership, governance, wellbeing and pupil outcomes.

The role emphasizes SEND focus, a non-term-time contract and turning emerging research into practical improvement across the Trust, with a strong emphasis on professional growth and system leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience as a school leader with a track record of improvement.
• Ability to translate evidence into practical improvement strategies.

• Provide support, challenge and assurance to Headteachers, Executive Leaders and Trust colleagues across the schools

Job description

This is a central team post at Nexus Multi Academy Trust, which runs 19 SEND and mainstream academies, reporting to the Executive Director of Quality Assurance and Improvement. The postholder supports, challenges and assures Headteachers and Executive Leaders across the Trust's schools, evaluating how the quality assurance framework affects leadership, governance, wellbeing and pupil outcomes. The role stands out for its SEND focus, its non-term-time contract and its remit to turn emerging research into practice across the Trust. Visa sponsorship is not available.
