About The Role

Executive Support Assistant to CEO

Permanent

Full Time - 37hrs per week

Location – Durham/Flexible/Homebased (minimum 3 days in the office)

Salary – up to £42,500

About The Role

As the Executive Support Assistant (you may know the role as an EA or PA) you’ll support our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) providing a full range of professional and proactive secretarial support, working in collaboration with the wider Executive Assistant team.

You’ll manage diaries including meeting requests, external visits and speaking engagements and ensure schedules are well planned and organised and run smoothly. You’ll effectively prioritise and manage all forms of contact and communications received, ensuring timely responses.

Overseeing effective processes and systems you’ll work with key stakeholders to forward plan and allocate time efficiently ensuring all activities are completed to time and required standards. You’ll be liaising with a wide range of stakeholders, from Board members to senior Civil Servants, MP’s and Business Leaders and will have clear and considered communication approach.

About You

You’ll have proven EA/PA experience working with Senior Executives/Directors managing busy and varied portfolios, utilising systems and technology in delivery of that service.

You’ll have proven experience of working within a team, able to prioritise and manage deadlines, along with interpreting needs. You’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with organisational and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail.

You’ll have resilience to adapt to ever changing priorities and demands, demonstrating knowledge and professionalism to support leaders to achieve outcomes, along with the ability to build relationships and networks at all levels throughout the organisation.

You’ll have proven stakeholder management skills and experience of exercising appropriate discretion, tact, diplomacy, confidentiality, and judgement on issues of significance and importance, particularly when dealing with officials at the highest level.

You’ll bring digital and technology skills, including excellent knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft packages.

Please note this role may require a DBS to be completed prior to employment
