Job description

Barts Health NHS Trust, one of Britain's leading healthcare providers and the largest acute trust in the NHS, is seeking a high-calibre Executive Assistant to support our Executive team. The role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to the Directors of RLH and the ME Senior Hospital Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the effective operation of the Royal London Hospital Executive Directors' office, including diary and email management, organizing meetings, and handling enquiries.
  2. Draft agendas, circulate papers, and take minutes at meetings, ensuring timely follow-up on actions.
  3. Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate diplomacy when dealing with internal and external stakeholders, including patients and visitors.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with partner organizations and external stakeholders.
Person Specification
Qualifications (Essential): Educated to degree level or equivalent, or relevant experience.
Experience (Essential): Experience in a senior secretarial/PA role, team working across disciplines, data analysis, and report preparation.
Knowledge (Desirable): Understanding of NHS strategies and key issues affecting the service.
Diplomacy, discretion, excellent IT skills, and the ability to work independently are essential qualities for this role.
