Position: Cover Supervisor

Location: Aylesbury (HP20)

Rate: £110 - £140 per day

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Cover Supervisor to support learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at a specialist SEMH school in Aylesbury. Your patience, calmness, and understanding of behavioural needs will make a significant impact on their education.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure continuity of learning
• Support students in classroom and intervention settings
• Foster a positive, structured classroom environment
• Collaborate with teaching staff to support student progress
• Build strong relationships with learners to encourage engagement

Key Requirements

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor in the UK at Secondary level (essential)
• Experience working with SEMH students or learners requiring behaviour management (preferred but not essential)
• Strong classroom management skills and adaptability to diverse learning needs
• Patience, calmness, and resilience in supporting students
