Are you an experienced litigator looking for a dynamic role where you can truly make an impact? We are assisting a well-established law firm in their search for a proactive and adaptable litigator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on varied and interesting cases while enjoying the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement.

You need to have experience of litigation but your qualification is not important. CILEX, solicitor, qualified by experience, or paralegal are all fine for this flexible firm.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong experience in litigation, with a hands-on approach and the ability to manage cases independently. You need at least 5 years experience.
• Comfortable handling change and working on unique or complex matters.
• Ideally, experience in commercial litigation.
• Willingness to attend court hearings and legal meetings.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Strong research, drafting, and organisational skills.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Preferably based within commuting distance of the SK area or within an easy commute of around 50 miles from Manchester.

Key Responsibilities

• Case preparation and progression.
• Drafting legal documents and correspondence.
• Conducting legal research and compiling reports.
• Attending court, inquests, and client meetings.
• Taking witness statements and liaising with expert witnesses.
• Managing and maintaining legal files and case documentation.
• Recording billable time and ensuring accurate case management.
