Job summary

The Lanes Group, the UK’s leading water and wastewater solutions provider, seeks an Excavation engineer for our Glasgow depot. You will join a two-person team on groundwork projects, performing drainage repairs, excavations, pipe renewals, and reinstatements across varied client sites.

Training will be provided, with 40-hour weeks and overtime potential. Salary is up to £14.50 per hour, dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Previous excavation or civils experience preferred.
• Full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a two-person team on groundwork projects.
• Small- to medium-sized civils works.
• Drainage-related repairs.
• Deep and shallow excavation.
• Pipe work renewals.
• Reinstatements and general ground works.

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Excavation engineer to join our Glasgow depot due to our increased workload.

Salary:up to £14.50 per hour depending on experience

Location: Glasgow

Hours:40 hours per week

Enhanced Overtime rates, with uncapped earning potential

You will be working as part of a two-person team on groundwork projects;

• Drainage-related repairs
• Deep and shallow excavation
• Pipe work renewals
• Reinstatements
• General ground works

Your schedule will vary to include all types of clients and worksites, from commercial and residential to industrial, rail, road and utility, right across the region. And you’ll need to be on board our award-winning health and safety programme which covers all aspects of your life at Lanes.

About you:

• Full Driving Licence (required) with no more than 6 penalty points
