Job summary

Silverstone UTC is seeking an Exams Officer to manage examinations, ensure JCQ compliance, and oversee data and timelines. The role includes liaising with Heads of Department, coordinating entries, and communicating with awarding bodies.

The successful candidate will manage assessments, run examinations, and support safeguarding within a busy school environment during term time and busy periods.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Experience of the role of Examinations Officer is desirable.
• Ability to liaise with exam boards and adhere to JCQ policies.
• Strong IT skills and ability to learn platforms such as SIMs and Go4Schools.

Responsibilities

• Implement all examination regulations as per JCQ regulations.
• Update examination policies annually and write new policies.
• Liaise with Heads of Department on examinations and MIS entries.
• Run public and mock examinations and ensure rules are followed.
• Arrange invigilation and manage examination staff.
