Ark Evelyn Grace Academy in London is seeking an Exams and Data Manager to oversee the full exam cycle, data systems, and daily cover management. You will work with leadership, teaching and support staff to ensure accurate data handling and timely results.

The role combines exam administration, data analysis and reporting, with responsibilities across timetabling, attendance and system upgrades. A proactive, detail-focused candidate is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing data systems across student, assessment and census data.
• Knowledge of GDPR and confidential record handling.
• Experience with Excel and large data sets.
• Familiarity with timetabling and examination processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver all internal and external examinations, including entries, access arrangements, timetabling, rooming, invigilation, materials and results, in line with JCQ and awarding body rules.
• Manage the academy's data systems so that student, assessment, attendance, admissions, exclusions, options, SEND and census data stays accurate, secure and current.
• Produce and analyse reports on trends and on student, subject and cohort performance to inform leadership decisions.
• Manage the staff cover process, including absence calls and daily cover arrangements.
• Manipulate large, complex data sets in Excel and MIS to extract the information needed.
• Provide data and analysis requested by SLT, teaching and support staff in an accessible format.
• Design report templates that reflect academy priorities for progress and attendance communication.
• Support the creation of the timetable and options models with curriculum leads.
• Make timetabling and room arrangements that minimise disruption to teaching and learning.
• Support leadership with the management of examination results days.
• Transfer student data accurately between systems, liaising with third parties where required.
• Support the implementation of new systems, provide training and user guides, and resolve issues raised by staff, students and parents
