Finchley Catholic High School is seeking an Exams and MIS Assistant to support the Exams and MIS Manager in the smooth running of examinations throughout the year and to assist with data analysis.
The role requires numeracy, attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning SIMs, 4Matrix and Class Charts, plus strong Excel and Office skills. It is a full-time post based at the school site in London and involves term-time work with some additional weeks.
Finchley Catholic High School is a highly successful, oversubscribed school, and we are seeking to appoint a passionate and committed Assistant Exams and MIS Manger to support the Exams and MIS Manager with the smooth running of internal and external examinations throughout the academic year, as well as the production of data analysis.
The Exams and Data office provides vital support for all members of the school community. We are looking for an individual who can assist the Exams and MIS Manager in:
Applicants should have a range of abilities, including high levels of numeracy, a logical mind and the willingness and ability to get to understand the main packages we use such as SIMs, 4Matrix and Class Charts as well as a strong knowledge of standard Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel. Excellent personal qualities are required such as the ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to plan ahead and meet strict deadlines are required as well as a flexible, positive approach and an ability to take the initiative when needed.
