Job summary

Peterborough Regional College is seeking an Exams Access Arrangements Co-Ordinator to oversee and deliver Exam Access Arrangements for learners, coordinating with curriculum, support and exams teams.

You'll identify learner needs, maintain evidence, ensure JCQ compliance, build relationships with feeder schools and external agencies, and support EHCP learners to provide fair assessment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with additional needs and coordinating processes or services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and build effective relationships with colleagues, schools and external partners.
• Good understanding of learning difficulties, disabilities and Exam Access Arrangements; knowledge of JCQ regulations and assistive technologies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement Exam Access Arrangements for eligible learners.
• Liaise with curriculum, support and exams teams to ensure effective learner support.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with feeder schools and external agencies.
• Collect, monitor and maintain Form 8 documentation and supporting evidence.
• Ensure full compliance with JCQ regulations and exam access requirements.
• Maintain accurate learner records and evidence files for Exam Access Arrangements.
• Coordinate exam support for learners with EHCPs and additional needs.
• Audit and monitor records in line with ALS funding requirements.
• Attend and cascade JCQ updates, implementing process improvements where required.
• Work collaboratively with wellbeing services to support learners requiring exam adjustments.
