Job summary

Ampleforth College in the Yorkshire valley invites applications for Examinations Invigilators to uphold the integrity of assessment sessions and provide a reassuring presence to students.

An ideal candidate will be reliable, flexible, and ready to work during exam periods; you should have good communication, teamwork, and basic IT skills, with training provided.

Experience in a school setting is preferred but not essential; hours vary with January, April, May and June exams.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school environment and examinations is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
• Hours are varied and required to be worked when exams are taking place (January, April, May and June).

Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity of examination sessions and ensure security of papers.
• Provide a reassuring presence to students in examination rooms.
• Communicate clear instructions and support candidates as needed.
