Job summary

Merton College in Tadworth is recruiting a pool of variable hours Examination Invigilators to supervise GCSE examinations during the November and May/June series.

Shifts are scheduled on specific dates: 3–6 November 2026, 9 November 2026, 14 May 2027, 24 May 2027 and 27 May 2027. We seek reliable staff with good communication, discretion and punctuality.

Qualifications

Experience in exam supervision or similar role is preferred.
Ability to work accurately under pressure and maintain integrity.
Excellent punctuality and reliability required.

Responsibilities

Supervise examination sessions in allocated venues.
Ensure exam regulations are followed and CCTV where applicable.
Assist with seating, materials and candidate comfort as needed.
