Job summary

Cheshire College South & West is seeking Examinations Invigilators to join our team across all sites (Crewe, Ellesmere Port and Chester Campuses). This role supports the Examinations Department during the busy examination calendar, with opportunities to train as readers and scribes to assist with access arrangements.

The position is part-time, bank staff, with a pay of £12.88 per hour. Candidates should have GCSEs in English and Maths and demonstrate strong organisational and digital literacy

Qualifications

• GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths (or equivalent) required.
• Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace and learning environment.
• Excellent organisational skills and appropriate level of digital literacy.

Responsibilities

• Undertake examination invigilation as required for external and internal assessments and exams.
• Ensure the security of all confidential examination materials and follow the requirements of JCQ and all awarding bodies; and
• Promote the welfare of children and young people.

We are seeking Examinations Invigilators to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for innovative and inspiring invigilators to support our Examinations Department at key points in the examination calendar.

We are also looking for Invigilators to take on additional training to become readers and scribes to support with access arrangements.
