Job summary

Stockport School invites applications for Exam Invigilators, Readers, and Scribes to join our busy exams period. Roles are casual/ad hoc and require the ability to work individually or as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to follow all Exam Board instructions.

Reader/Scribe positions demand a good level of literacy and legible handwriting. Successful applicants will be subject to DBS clearance before appointment.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate effectively with students, staff and exam boards.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team.
• Follow all instructions issued for exams and by the Exam Board.
• Reader/Scribe role requires strong literacy and legible handwriting.
• DBS clearance or satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise examination sessions as Invigilator/Reader/Scribe.
• Work on an ad hoc basis around May and June exam periods.
• Ensure compliance with exam procedures and confidentiality.
