Job summary

Career Teachers is recruiting Exam Invigilators, Scribes and Readers to support secondary schools across South East London during upcoming examination periods. Flexible work, with training provided and immediate opportunities, allows you to choose shifts that fit your schedule.

As part of the exam support team, you will help ensure JCQ regulations are followed, assist with setting up venues, distribute papers, and support students with approved access arrangements while maintaining a calm,

Qualifications

• Professional and reliable approach.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
• Previous exam support experience is beneficial but full training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure examinations run in accordance with JCQ regulations.

• Maintain a calm and secure exam environment.
• Support students with approved access arrangements by recording dictated responses during examinations.

About the Roles

Exam Invigilators

• Ensure examinations run in accordance with JCQ regulations
• Assist with setting up examination venues
• Distribute and collect exam papers and materials
• Maintain a calm and secure exam environment

Scribes

• Support students with approved access arrangements by recording dictated responses during examinations
• Ensure students receive the appropriate level of support while adhering to examination regulations
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Readers

• Read examination instructions and questions to students with approved access arrangements
• Support students in accessing examination materials fairly
• Follow all exam board and school guidelines
