Job summary

Wootton Park School invites applications for casual, part-time exam invigilators to support internal and external exams. Roles are seasonal with hours negotiated around the exam timetable, typically 2–4 hours per session starting at 9am and 1:30pm.

Successful invigilators will be reliable, proactive and work well in a team. Applicants need to be flexible with schedules and ready to ensure exam integrity in line with JCQ and school requirements.

Job description

Wootton Park School is seeking to appoint a small team of enthusiastic and dedicated casual, part-time exam invigilators. Work is seasonal and around the timetable of both external and internal (mock) exams. Hours can be negotiated and agreed around the exam timetable. Invigilators will need to inform the school of their availability to work. Exams start at 9am and 1.30pm with 30 minutes of exam preparation. Each session requires approximately 2-4 hours per exam to account for support with setting up the exam and the collection of exam papers as well as invigilation of the exam itself. The positions requires enthusiasm, team work, proactivity and reliability. The role is integral to upholding the integrity of the exams process in line with the Joint Council Qualification (JCQ) Exam Boards and School requirements.
