Job summary

Avonbourne Boys' and Girls' Academies in East Bournemouth are seeking exam invigilators to join a supportive team. You will help ensure smooth, compliant examinations across May and June, with additional exams throughout the year.

Shifts are available mornings, afternoons, or both, and you should provide availability at least one month in advance. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, good communication, and basic IT knowledge to assist students using read/write software.

• Previous experience as an Invigilator is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Reliable and flexible.
• Have effective communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
• Have basic IT knowledge as you may need to work with students who use read/write software.

Avonbourne Boys' and Girls' Academies are two 11-16 secondary schools based in East Bournemouth where students share a campus and are taught in predominantly single sex classes. When students reach our onsite United Sixth Form, mixed classes are reinstated. About the role

We are seeking to appoint Exam Invigilators to join our experienced team in ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of a range of exams at Avonbourne Boys’ and Girls’ Academies. The main external examinations take place in May and June each year, but we also have a range of other exams running throughout the academic year, so hours are available during other exam periods.

You must be able to commit to either mornings, afternoons or ideally both during our busy exam periods and provide your availability at least one month in advance.
