Job summary

Queen Mary’s High School is seeking an Examination Invigilator to supervise examinations in line with examination body regulations at the Walsall campus. You will oversee candidates before and after assessments and assist with exam procedures as required by the exams officer.

The role is paid at NJC SCP 4 (£13.48) per hour excluding holiday pay, rising to £15.10 per hour including holiday pay. DBS checks and references may be required, with the Mercian Trust safeguarding policy guiding all

Qualifications

• Experience invigilating examinations.
• Ability to follow examination regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Invigilate public and internal examinations in accordance with Examination Body regulations.
• Supervise candidates before or after assessments.
• Invigilate the School’s entrance examination (when required).
• Undertake administrative tasks as directed by the exams officer, e.g. taking registers and packing of scripts after exams.
• Promote the ethos and aims of Queen Mary’s High School and The Mercian Trust.
