Job summary

Queen Mary’s High School in Walsall invites applications for an Examination Invigilator to support the smooth running of exams at the school. The role involves supervising candidates and ensuring compliance with examination regulations, with various administrative tasks as directed by the exams officer.

As a member of The Mercian Trust, you will contribute to a fair assessment environment while upholding the school’s ethos and high standards of student welfare and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Invigilate both public and internal examinations in accordance with Examination Body regulations.
• Supervise candidates held before or after assessments.
• Invigilate the School’s entrance examination (when required).
• Undertake such administrative tasks as set by the exams officer, which may include taking registers and assisting the exams officer with the packing of scripts at the end of exams.
• Promote the ethos and aims of Queen Mary’s High School and The Mercian Trust.

Pay range: NJC SCP 4 - £13.48 per hour excluding holiday pay; £15.10 per hour including holiday pay
