Exam Invigilator - Part-Time/Term-Time (Training Provided)

Job summary

King’s Academy Easthampstead Park is recruiting invigilators to support examinations across the national timetable. Hours are typically early mornings with a split morning/afternoon pattern during busy periods, and DBS checks are required for all staff. Training is provided, and availability during May–June is essential.

Successful candidates will help with exam setup, supervision, and paper handling, enabling smooth exam operations while maintaining JCQ compliance and student welfare.

Qualifications

• No experience is needed as full training will be given but experience of working with young people will of course be an advantage.
• The main examination period is during May and June and you must be available to cover at least 4 exams a week during the summer series.
• There will be other in-house examinations requiring invigilators at various points in the year.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and collecting of exam papers and materials.
• Admitting students to the exam hall/room.
• Invigilating exams.
• Collating papers to be sent off to the Exam Board.
