Job summary

Nova Hreod Academy invites applications for Exam Invigilators to supervise examinations throughout the year. Flexible hours on a casual basis, starting ASAP, with duties including monitoring exams and ensuring exam integrity.

The role requires clear English communication, attention to detail and a calm, authoritative presence with students. DBS checks and references are expected before appointment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong spoken and written English skills.
• Must be able to relate to and communicate clearly with young people.
• Able to hold an air of authority and stay calm under pressure.
• Willing to work flexible session times during exam periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise exams of all types, including GCSEs, throughout the year.
• Work in sessions 8:00 to 13:30-15:40 or full day 8:00 to 15:40 as required.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and communication in exam settings.
• Be flexible to peak times and support the school during examinations.
