Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain invites applications for an invigilator to support the college’s exam periods at its Havant campus. You will supervise candidates, set up exam rooms, and ensure candidates receive the correct papers and instructions, all in line with JCQ, awarding body and college rules.

Working hours may include evenings during busy exam periods, so flexibility is important. Strong attention to detail and the ability to liaise with staff at all levels are essential for this role,

Qualifications

• English and Maths at Level 2 (GCSE grade C) or above.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the college invigilation team to supervise candidates during exams.
• Set up the exam room in compliance with JCQ, awarding body and college regulations.
• Protect the integrity of the exams process by ensuring candidates follow regulations.
• Ensure candidates receive all relevant instructions, regulations and the correct papers.
• Supervise candidates during exams, including when they leave the room and between exams (as required).
