Job summary

Q3 Academy Great Barr invites applications for an Exam Invigilator to conduct examinations in line with JCQ regulations and school policies. The role involves ensuring the security of papers, setting up rooms, and guiding candidates through the process.

Full training will be provided; strong communication and teamwork are essential. This is an on-site position at the Birmingham campus with a supportive staff environment and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Educated to a good standard of education, in numeracy and literacy.
• Experience of invigilation is not required as training will be provided.
• Have effective communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Strong Organisational Skills.

Responsibilities

• To conduct examinations in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ), awarding body and Q3 Academy Great Barr regulations and instructions;
• To have a key role in upholding the integrity and security of the examination/assessments
• Keep confidential exam papers and materials secure before, during and after examinations
• Ensure examination rooms are set up according to the requirements
• Instruct candidates in finishing their examinations and collect scripts and materials
• Dismiss candidates from the examination room
