Job summary

St James CE High School in Farnworth is seeking a casual Exam Invigilator to support exam periods, ensuring security and smooth operation of rooms in line with external awarding body requirements. You will assist with well-organised administration and handling papers and materials.

The successful candidate will be a reliable team player with experience working with pupils aged 11–16, able to build rapport quickly and motivate others.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with children aged 11-16 in an education setting.
  • Demonstrates personal resilience and the ability to adapt to flexible shifts during exam periods.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with pupils and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the exams officer in maintaining the security and smooth running of the exam rooms in line with awarding body requirements.
  • Help with paper handling and administration to ensure exams run efficiently.

YOUR MAIN DUTIES WOULD BE:

To assist the exams officer in maintaining the security and smooth running of the exam rooms in accordance with the external awarding body requirements. Have a passion for well-organise administration systems and processes. This will include keeping papers and materials secure, during and after examinations.
