TeacherActive Limited. is recruiting an Exam Invigilator to support a large, well-established secondary school and sixth form in South East London, near Elephant & Castle. You will supervise exams, prepare rooms and ensure examinations regulations are followed.

This temporary, flexible role requires reliability, excellent punctuality and strong communication. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one, and the right to work in the UK, are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during examinations.
• Prepare examination rooms before sessions.
• Distribute and collect examination papers.
• Communicate examination instructions clearly to students.
• Maintain appropriate examination conditions at all times.
• Monitor students during each examination.
• Ensure examination regulations are followed.
• Report any irregularities to the Exams Officer.
• Work with other invigilators and school staff.
• Follow safeguarding procedures at all times.

Job Title: Exam Invigilator

Location: South East London – Elephant & Castle

Start Date: October

Contract: Temporary / Flexible Exam Cover

Pay: £14–£17 per hour, depending on experience

TeacherActive is currently seeking reliable and professional Exam Invigilators to support a large, well-established secondary school and sixth form in South East London, close to Elephant & Castle.

The successful Exam Invigilator will support the school during mock and formal examination periods, helping to ensure exams run smoothly and in accordance with examination regulations.

As an Exam Invigilator, you will supervise students throughout examinations, distribute and collect examination materials, provide clear instructions and ensure appropriate examination conditions are maintained at all times.

The successful Exam Invigilator will have:

• A reliable and professional approach

• Confidence working with secondary-aged students
• The ability to follow examination procedures carefully
• Strong attention to detail
• Good organisational skills
• Previous school or exam invigilation experience is essential
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• The right to work in the UK

Key Responsibilities:
