Job summary

Demob Job Ltd on behalf of our client is recruiting an Engineering Apprenticeship Assessor to support Royal Signals apprentices. This role suits an experienced electrical engineer from the Army, Royal Navy or Royal Air Force who wants to move off the tools but stay close to the Armed Forces.

You will deliver the Level 3 Engineering Technician apprenticeship from induction to End Point Assessment, with Monday to Friday hours, 25 days holiday, and pension.

Qualifications

• Must have served in Army, Royal Navy or RAF with electrical engineering background.
• Teaching, coaching or mentoring experience is advantageous.
• Possible attainment of teaching or assessor qualification or willingness to work towards one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver apprenticeship training through one-to-one and group sessions.
• Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback.
• Carry out inductions and progress reviews.
• Identify learner needs to ensure successful completion.
• Motivate and guide learners throughout the apprenticeship.
