Job summary

Demob Job Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a client for an Engineering Apprenticeship Assessor to support Royal Signals apprentices. An experienced electrical engineer from the Army, Royal Navy or Royal Air Force is ideal to help develop the next generation of military engineers.

The role delivers and assesses the Level 3 Engineering Technician apprenticeship and involves one-to-one and group sessions, inductions, progress reviews, and learner support.

Qualifications

• Must have served within the Army, Royal Navy or Royal Air Force and have an electrical engineering background.
• Hold an HNC or equivalent qualification or experience within an electrical or engineering discipline.
• Previous experience of training, instruction, teaching, coaching or mentoring would be highly advantageous.
• A teaching or assessor qualification would be advantageous, although candidates willing to work towards these qualifications will be considered.
• Confident maintaining accurate learner documentation and records.
• A learner focused approach with a genuine interest in supporting the development of others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver apprenticeship training through a combination of one to one and group based sessions.
• Assess learner work, provide constructive feedback and support progression.
• Carry out learner inductions and ongoing progress reviews.
• Identify and support individual learner needs to ensure successful completion.
• Motivate, coach and guide learners throughout their apprenticeship journey.
