Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited seeks a Maintenance Engineer (Ex-Forces) for a 3-shift position in Flint. You will maintain automation and manufacturing machinery, performing mechanical and electrical work on motors, gearboxes, sensors and control panels.

In-house PLC training and funded external electrical courses are provided to develop your skills, with overtime and a base salary of £42,000–£45,000 and an OTE up to £55,000. A 6% pension is included.

Qualifications

• Ex-forces background preferred.
• 3-shift role with commitment to shift patterns.
• In-house training on PLCs and funded external electrical courses.
• Experience with automation equipment and control panels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain automation and manufacturing machinery.
• Fault find and service motors, gearboxes, sensors and PLCs.
• Operate across 3-shift rotation, MTW 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am.
• Overtime paid at time 1/2 on weekdays and double on Sundays.
