Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer (Ex-Forces) in Flint to keep production lines running and drive improvements across mechanical and electrical systems.

You will receive fully funded training on PLCs and electrical courses, with a strong emphasis on overtime earnings and shift flexibility. The role includes a three-shift schedule and a structured development path within a market-leading company.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer with mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work across automation and manufacturing machinery.
• Willingness to undertake fully funded PLC training and electrical courses.

Responsibilities

• Maintain automation and manufacturing lines.
• Fault find and service gearboxes, motors, sensors, panels and PLCs.
• Operate on a 3-shift rotation: 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am.
