Job summary

Outwood Academy City Fields in Wakefield is seeking an Education Welfare Officer/Attendance Manager to lead our attendance team and drive whole‑school strategies for improved student attendance and access to learning.

This senior role requires strong knowledge of attendance legislation, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage families in complex situations to prioritise learning for all pupils.

Salary (Actual Salary): £ 29,309 to £31,626

Working Pattern: 37 Hours per Week, Term Time Plus Five Days
