HGV Class 2 Driver in Hockliffe

Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver in Hockliffe to join a well-established logistics company. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a professional driving role, delivering goods across the UK with the support of a friendly and reliable transport team.

Location: Hockliffe
Salary: £16.50 per hour + accrued holiday pay
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a HGV Class 2 vehicle from Hockliffe to various UK destinations
• Complete single-drop deliveries — tip and return, no multi-drop
• Ensure goods are delivered safely and on time
• Carry out vehicle checks and maintain safety standards
• Communicate effectively with the transport team
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
• Minimum 1 year of HGV Class 2 driving experience preferred
• Good knowledge of UK roads; familiarity with London routes is a bonus
• Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious
