Job summary

De Vere Latimer in Chesham is seeking an Events Assistant to join the team. You will help set up and clear down spaces for conferences, weddings, and other events, following room plans and ensuring everything is ready on time.

This hands-on role involves moving tables and chairs, working in a busy environment, and collaborating with the Events team to deliver memorable experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated eye for detail to ensure spaces are set up to a high standard.
• Practical, hands-on role involving moving tables, chairs and equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment and adapt to different room layouts.
• Reliable team player willing to collaborate to complete tasks.
• Previous experience in events or hospitality helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clear down event spaces according to room plans.
• Move and arrange tables, chairs and event equipment safely.
• Assist with room changes and ensure fixtures are clean and presentable.
• Support the Events team to keep operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
