Job summary

Prime Appointments Ltd is seeking a Marketing Officer – Events in Benfleet, Essex. The role combines creative marketing with hands-on event delivery, planning College events from start to finish and coordinating Open Evenings and Graduation Ceremonies.

You will develop marketing collateral, publish prospectuses and literature, manage communications across channels, and liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery while supporting recruitment activities.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in marketing and/or events management.
• Proven experience organising and delivering events from start to finish.
• Experience developing marketing materials and written content.
• Excellent organisational skills with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail with a creative, proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Confidence building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good IT skills with databases and social media platforms.

Responsibilities

• Plan College events from conception through to completion.
• Coordinate Open Evenings, Graduation Ceremonies, Student Awards and other activities.
• Create and develop marketing collateral, publications and event literature.
• Produce engaging internal and external communications across channels.
• Liaise with internal teams, external stakeholders and attendees to ensure delivery.
• Monitor event effectiveness and manage attendee databases.
• Manage event budgets, timelines and marketing materials.
• Support social media activity with photography, video and digital content.
• Ensure materials and campus displays reflect the College's brand and standards.
