AXON in London is seeking an experienced Events Manager to lead the planning and delivery of pharmaceutical meetings, congresses and events across UK and internationally. You will be the main point of contact for clients, suppliers and internal teams, ensuring seamless on-site delivery and post-event reconciliation.
This role requires strong project management, budget control and knowledge of ABPI/EFPIA compliance, with the ability to travel as needed.
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Events Manager to join our London team.
The successful candidate will manage the planning and delivery of a wide range of pharmaceutical meetings, congresses and events for clients across AXON's Practice Groups, with a primary focus on our Medical Practice. From initial planning through to on-site delivery and post-event reconciliation, you will ensure every event is delivered seamlessly, compliantly and to the highest possible standard.
As the lead contact for event logistics, you will work closely with clients, suppliers and internal account teams to create exceptional experiences while maintaining strong client relationships. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys managing multiple priorities, and has a passion for delivering outstanding events within the highly regulated pharmaceutical industry.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
At AXON, we actively encourage the team to be involved in activities outside of their day‑to‑day work. Whether that is being involved in our social, Diversity & Inclusion, or CSR electives, attending networking events, or running training sessions on topics in which they have a personal interest. We have a keen focus on training and development and, as a rough guide, suggest employees aim to complete 37.5 hours of learning a year through online learning, classroom training, or attending external events; that is one week a year dedicated to your development.
At AXON, we harness AI not to replace what makes us exceptional, but to elevate it. AI expands our reach, sharpens our insights, and accelerates discovery; but it is our people – curious, responsible, authentic, forward‑looking and transparent – who turn that potential into meaningful impact.
We are looking for candidates who are curious, adaptable and enthusiastic about embracing AI and emerging technologies as part of their everyday working practices.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a growth mindset around AI and emerging technologies, shown through an openness to learning new tools, experimenting with innovative ways of working, and using AI responsibly and transparently.
Whether your background is technical or non‑technical, we value individuals who demonstrate digital confidence and a willingness to evolve alongside rapidly changing technologies.
AXON is a diverse organization, committed to a policy of equal opportunities. At all times, we aim to recruit, develop and promote the very best people, basing judgment solely on suitability for the job.
