About the role
We are the independent charity that loves and looks after six of the most wonderful palaces in the world. The palaces are the setting for stories that shape us all, and we’re bringing them to people in meaningful ways. From corporate events and charity galas to special celebrations, we need a dedicated Events Manager to lead and manage the Tower of London events team and maximize the commercial potential of this World Heritage site.
This role involves communication as much as organisation. You will work to continually enhance and promote the reputation of HRP as a world-class portfolio of event venues by providing event organisers, clients, and guests with flawless support and facilities.
You must be a self-starter and quick learner, able to work independently and adapt quickly. You should be personable, engaging, and able to work well with all stakeholders, including high-profile individuals. Strong IT, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
You should have proven experience managing an events venue and executing events operationally. In-depth industry knowledge is required, and experience working within a heritage setting is advantageous.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays is necessary.
