Job summary

William Reed Ltd. is seeking an Events Manager to lead high-quality events across hospitality and manufacturing sectors in the Gatwick area.

You will own conferences, awards, roundtables and networking events, driving experience for industry leaders and decision-makers. You’ll manage end-to-end delivery—from planning to on-site execution and post-event analysis—while partnering with sponsors, venues and internal stakeholders to maximise impact and brand outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience planning and delivering corporate events end-to-end.
• Strong organisational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder and supplier management to ensure seamless events.
• Ability to manage event budgets and post-event reporting.
• Willingness to travel within the UK as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of events from initial planning to on-site delivery and post-event wrap-up.
• Create detailed project plans and critical paths to meet timelines.
• Oversee budgets, supplier relationships and venue sourcing to deliver commercially effective events.
• Coordinate logistics including speakers, entertainment, catering, AV and technical production.
• Build relationships with sponsors, venues, internal teams and external partners.
• Lead on-site event delivery, troubleshoot issues and ensure high standards.
• Collaborate across the business to support audience engagement and brand objectives.
