Schroders Wealth Management in Manchester is seeking an Events Manager to plan, manage and deliver a broad portfolio of client, investment-led, sponsorship and partnership events across UK regions.
You will lead end-to-end event concepts, budgets, supplier negotiations and on-site delivery while ensuring regulatory compliance, risk management and a superb client experience.
Who we’re looking for
The Events Manager is responsible for the planning, management and delivery of a broad portfolio of client, investment-led, sponsorship and partnership events across Wealth Management and regional offices. The role will take ownership of events from concept through to execution and evaluation, ensuring that all events deliver against business objectives, provide an exceptional client experience, and support strategic business development goals.
The Events Manager will manage relationships with senior stakeholders, regional offices, venues and suppliers, providing expert guidance throughout the event planning process. The role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment. Regular travel across the UK will be required.
The job holder has responsibility to pay due regard to the interests of our customers and treat them fairly, ensuring that the information provided to clients on services is clear and useful and enables them to understand fully what they are being offered. They are required to familiarise themselves fully with the team’s current procedures, FCA compliance requirements, and the principles behind ‘Conduct Risk’.
