Job summary

The CFO Centre is seeking an experienced Events Manager to own end-to-end event planning for a mix of in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats across the UK. You will lead calendar development, coordinate with regional and commercial teams, and drive lead generation through thoughtful event promotion and cross-channel campaigns.

Applicants should bring 5+ years in B2B event management, strong project management, and hands-on experience with Zoom, Eventbrite, and HubSpot.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years in B2B event management, ideally in professional or financial services.
  • Understanding of lead generation and sales enablement through events.
  • Proven track record designing and delivering events that generate measurable leads or pipeline.
  • Hands-on experience promoting events across channels (email, social, paid, partner).
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Experience managing budgets and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Comfort using event platforms such as Zoom and Eventbrite.
  • Previous experience using HubSpot for events.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK to support events.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively build and maintain an events calendar (min 2 events/month).
  • Drive outreach with Regional Directors to identify topics, speakers, dates.
  • Collaborate with commercial team to tailor events to local market needs.
  • Lead events strategy, develop ideas and formats, propose improvements to channel performance.
  • Plan and execute in-person, virtual, and hybrid events including national webinars and regional events.
  • Support Partnerships Manager with partnership events.
  • Support internal company events and conferences.
  • Build promotional plans and own end-to-end event promotion (pre/post).
  • Manage venues, suppliers, logistics, delegates and post-event reporting.
  • Work with content and digital teams to promote events and maximise attendance.
  • Track KPIs: attendance, engagement, lead quality, ROI.
  • Collaborate with Regional Directors, Divisional Directors, Telesales, HubSpot teams and other business units to align with goals.
  • Support Marketing Lead with campaign alignment and other tasks.
  • Ensure events reflect premium brand and values; own the annual events budget.
  • Occasionally travel within the UK to support events.

  • Manage venues, suppliers, logistics, delegates, and post-event reporting.

  • Work with content and digital teams to promote events and maximise attendance.
