Job description

CGC Event Caterers are currently recruiting for an Events Head Chef to join our culinary team, based at our Central Production Kitchen. Our Events Head Chef will support the Executive Head Chef with running the day-to-day operations at our Central Kitchen and managing culinary operations across various venues and events, including The Great Yorkshire Show, Paris Airshow, Tickled Pink Gala, and more.

Role Responsibilities

1. Leading, directing, and coordinating a team of onsite Chefs
2. Ensuring the smooth delivery of all culinary packages to clients
3. Adhering to all company procedures and protocols
4. Maintaining positive communication with front of house and management teams
5. Following SOPs and guidelines
6. Supporting efficient facility operations in line with budgets

Person Specification

1. Highly skilled and experienced Chef capable of leading a kitchen team across various sites
2. A passionate, dedicated individual eager to develop professionally and support others
3. Exceptional background in high-end catering
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
5. Currently holding a Head or Sous Chef position within a similar organization or outside catering company
