Job summary

The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester is seeking an experienced F&B Supervisor to support the Food & Beverage Management Team in delivering high-quality catering, bar and hospitality services across events and day-to-day operations.

You will supervise front-line teams, ensure standards and compliance, and help deliver efficient food and beverage operations across the venue, coordinating with internal departments and event stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience within a food and beverage, hospitality, catering or event operations environment.
• Understanding of bar, catering and hospitality operations within a customer-facing venue.
• Working knowledge of food hygiene, allergen management and health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of food and beverage operations across events, conferences, cafés, bars and restaurants, ensuring a consistently high standard of customer service.
• Provide operational supervision and duty management cover, acting as Bars & Catering Duty Manager when required and supporting the wider management team.
• Lead and support front-line catering teams, recruiting, inducting, training and developing staff.
• Coordinate with internal departments and event stakeholders to plan and deliver catering and hospitality requirements.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, allergen, health and safety and company procedures across all areas.
• Manage operational controls, including stock ordering, cash handling and till reconciliation, supporting overall efficiency.
